NEW EQUIPMENT

NEW in April 2001 NAC purchased a 4 axis Real Time X-Ray Machine to further enhance out ability to provide high quality aluminum die castings and improve our manufacturing processes.

In 2000 we introduced a new 36" diameter Loctite© Anarobic Impregnation Line. We also installed three (3) Vibrodyne 8 cubic foot vibratory finishing machines. As a Loctite© Contract Service Center we provide the latest technology to impregnation of castings of all type.

*Loctite© Resinol RTC is a low viscosity water washable sealant for the impregnation of porous materials. The sealant is designed to cure anaerobically at room temperature.
The vacuum impregnation process consists of a few basic steps. First, the air is evacuated from the internal porosity of the part being processed. The part is then repressurized while immersed in Resinol RTC. The low viscosity liquid sealant flows into the evacuated pores and polymerizes to form a solid thermoset plastic. The film of Resinol RTC left on the surface of the part remains liquid and is easily removed by washing the parts in plain water.
Resinol RTC is formulated with a unique proprietary surfactant monomer which reacts within the sealant to form part of a densely crosslinked polymer. The use of this reactive surfactant makes it possible to offer a sealant that can be washed off without detergents and yet not compromise the performance characteristics of the cured polymer.

In July 2000, NAC  added another  NIGATA A Model SPN-40 Horizontal Machining Center.

TEXT ONLY: As one of the largest producers of ammunition during World War II, Hastings has a lot of history. And that history is put to good use every day. Through the efforts of the city, the land and buildings from the war time effort were acquired and offered as industrial space to businesses like mine. The availability of manufacturing space is incredible. The building we occupy has allowed us to continue to grow and modify space as we needed. Today we occupy over 70,000 square feet in a single facility that was once three separate buildings. We ship our custom aluminum die castings to customers in the US and Canada. We precision machine our castings to the customer’s specifications and still we remain flexible. Hastings people make the difference. We plan our future growth right here on our present site because of our central location, affordable transportation, and easy access to educational facilities. I believe it’s possible for unlimited success in a city that is small enough to care about each and every business, yet large enough to see world-wide opportunities.
